Top new features in Femap 2401

• New license manager:
  • You no longer need to exit Femap and execute a batch file to switch or set a new licensing type. The new licensing dialog allows you to connect to licenses and receive feedback on the connection status without having to restart Femap.
• New layup builder:
  • Layup Builder is used to create a large number of layups using a docked menu. Within Femap V2401 there is a possibility to import HDF5-files, to import a pre-determined layup scheme. Another added feature is the possibility to preview an element layup in the Femap model.
• Sloshing Dynamic analysis:
  • Extended support for dynamic analysis with incompressible fluids has been added to Femap V2401. Femap V2401 now supports for modeling the incompressible fluid as a defined fluid mass with finite elements.
• Renewed command finder interface
• Renewed ABAQUS analysis manager and *Step import possibility:
  • Step import functionality is now supported in the ABAQUS-solver interface. Additionally there have been made improvements to the Analysis Set Manager for ABAQUS.
• Updates to Nastran solvers:
  • The Nonlinear Multi-Step Structural analysis in Simcenter Nastran (SOL401) now has the Strategy Parameters (NLCNTL) dialog inside a tabbed dialog.
