Parameter Sets

Save commonly used parameters to a parameter set. Quickly compare different setups, share parameter sets with your coworkers and create a library of frequently used parameter sets.

Acausal Electrical Systems

A new library was added to the preview features. Enable it in the settings to test out the new acausal electrical systems library. This will enable you to model electrical systems without having to consider which side of the components you can and cannot connect, letting Amesim handle the causality for you.

Plotting Updates

Plotting your results has become even simpler, by updating the time axis to show the units set in the simulation settings rather than only in seconds.

Furthermore, assess your batch studies much quicker with newly added plotting features. Automatically create study plots to show relationships between study parameters.

Battery Cooling

The battery pack assistant has been upgraded with the use of the new non-conformal thermal interface component.
Discretise the battery pack and cooling plate at different levels and let the interface handle the connection. This way the pack can be discretized to the battery layout while the cooling plate can be discretized to ideally capture the thermal gradient.
The battery pack can now also set up models using battery packs with side cooling, cutting out the need to manually alter the automatically generated model.

• Gas Library Update

Several updates to the gas library; expanding upon, and bringing even more features from the pneumatic, gas mixture, and moist air libraries together into a single library.

1. The library is now integrated into the heat exchanger assistant.
2. Gas property definitions can now be done using custom tabulated gas data
3. The gas library now gets its own valve builder tool

• Blend Electrodes

Electrochemical models for battery cells have been enhanced with a new blend electrode model. Allowing the mixing of active materials in both anodes and cathodes.

• 3D – Mechanical Animation

The assembly component of the 3D Mechanical library has been integrated into the new 3D scene builder, giving a clearer and more intuitive understanding of the relations between components in 3D.
