About us

Femto Engineering is a leading Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) consultancy firm with activities throughout the Benelux and Germany. Femap Femto EngineeringWe use Finite Element Analysis, flow calculations (CFD) and system simulations, to assess parameters like structural integrity, of our customers’ designs. We have offices in Delft (NL) Münster (DE).

 

What do we expect from you?

As Femto Engineering, we are keen to spread the knowledge of our experienced engineers, you as an account manager are instrumental in that mission by selling our complete service portfolio. We are looking for someone who is proactive, able to get results, and can build sustainable networks. In that regard, these would be your main tasks:

  • Maintaining and intensifying relationships with existing customers
  • Expansion of the existing customer network through acquisition
  • Calculation and preparation of offers according to customer requirements
  • Customer support throughout the period of service provision
  • Meeting and/or exceeding your turnover target
  • Active participation in sales meetings

 

Where would you work?

Germany (Nordrhein-Westfalen and surroundings) will be your sales area. Industries we operate include (High-Tech) Engineering, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, and machinery. Your target audience are R&D departments, engineering managers, buyers/selection committees and other decision-makers.

You will work within a scale-up environment, with a small team, reporting to the business manager of our Münster Office (Your home base) and the Commercial Director in the Netherlands. Maintaining an excellent relationship with your local colleagues and Sales colleagues in the Netherlands and Belgium are naturally to you.

 

Qualifications

We would like to meet you if you:

  • Have 1 – 3 years of commercial sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Have technical affinity or background in engineering
  • Experience in prospecting, networking, and lead generation
  • Independently control your sales pipeline
  • Can create and follow a structured (marketing and sales) action plan
  • Easily pick up market trends and customer signals
  • Aspire a long sales career and grow within the company
  • Proactively and clearly communicates and reports
  • Are fluent in German and English (spoken and written); Dutch is an advantage.
  • Be available for at least 32 hours a week
